No matter what, no matter where, we are always there to help when disaster strikes.
Flooding is devastating communities in Pakistan. Children and families have lost their homes as flood waters continue to rise to dangerous heights.
In Pakistan, five times the average rainfall has inundated large swathes of the country. There are reports of almost 1000 people losing their lives, with the death toll rising.
More than 3.4 million children are estimated to have been impacted. 2 million acres of crops have been lost. Health facilities have been damaged and medicines destroyed.
UNICEF teams are on the ground in the three affected provinces. We are working with the government and partners and racing to deliver urgently needed medicine, vaccines, water and sanitation supplies. Already, we have provided 8,000 people access to safe drinking water and delivered soap to 7,000 families.
By donating, you’ll be helping our teams on the ground deliver life-saving supplies to support the needs of children and their families affected by the crisis.
Support UNICEF Australia today and help children and families in Pakistan.
