Chief Operating Officer, Sarah Grattan

Sarah Grattan is the Chief Operating Officer of UNICEF Australia. Sarah leads the enabling activities for UA: Governance, Finance, Risk, IT, Strategy, and Operations. Since joining in 2018 Sarah has led a data and digital transformation of UNICEF Australia, overseen a new Constitution and increased maturity of governance, risk and reporting processes.

Sarah has 25+ years of strategy consulting experience working across diverse projects and industries in both the corporate and not for profit sectors, including the development of UNICEF Australia’s Strategic Plan in 2017. Previous roles include Manager of Strategy & Finance (Retail) at Sydney Airports Corporation, Consultant at LEK Consulting and Lecturer in Organisational Effectiveness. Sarah is an elected Councillor on the Northern Beaches Council and a member of the Audit, Risk & Improvement Committee. Sarah is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and graduated from University of NSW with a Bachelor of Economics (Honours), a Bachelor of Laws and the UNSW University Medal for Economics. Sarah is a mother of three girls.
